This church of red brick, wood and glass was designed by the architect Erkki Kantonen. It was built on the site of a wooden church destroyed by fire in 1968 and taken into use in 1973. The pulpit, church bells, three granite slabs and Urho Lehtinen's stained glass come from the old church; the windows depict New Testament stories such as the feeding of the five thousand and the healing of the blind. The church was renovated in 1987 and 2004, and a main renovation and parish centre were completed in 2012–2013 to the architect Pekka Paavola's plans.
The nave seats 370 after the renovation. The connected parish centre houses all the parish work units, offices, youth and children's facilities, a kitchen and halls. The church hosts services, funerals, family and youth activities and public events. Step-free access, an induction loop, parking and a toilet are available.
