This café and sauna stand by the Haihunkoski rapids. Pastries and cakes are baked in-house, including cheesecakes, layer cakes and savoury and sweet pies, with gluten-free and vegan options. Coffee comes from the small Tampere roastery Kahw, soft drinks from PoikainParhailta, and ice cream from Karhulinna and Maitola. Drinks also include ice tea, lemonades, specialty coffees and brewed teas.
The wood-fired sauna has traditional löyly, with separate sessions for women and men on Saturdays. A private sauna can be booked during café opening hours. The café space can be hired year-round with catering, special diets included. A small gallery shows local artists in summer, and exhibitions, workshops and events run through the year. The premises are wheelchair accessible, but there is no hearing loop.
