Founded in 1937, the music school offers instrumental tuition, music theory, ensembles, choirs, folk music and early-childhood music play groups. Provision includes basic and advanced studies and a free-form department. A support company maintains the institution with authorisation from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Instrumental lessons are mainly one-to-one, with group teaching for ensemble playing and music basics. Registration is through Eepos. The school has several teaching locations and collaborates with Seinäjoki City Orchestra.
