This ice rink was completed in March 2008, and its ice surface measures 28 x 58 metres. It has nine dressing rooms plus a separate referee's room, a sharpening room and a drying room. The stand has 421 seats, the café area holds about 40 people, and at public events the hall can take over 2,000.
Ice-time bookings and ice maintenance are handled by the city, with contact details listed on the website. The rink is owned by Alavuden Jäähalli Oy, a subsidiary of the town council. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
