This nature trail on Salonsaari island by Lake Päijänne belongs to a family farm founded in 1539. The property has remained in the same family for nearly 500 years and is run by its eighteenth generation. A roughly three-kilometre ski track is available in winter.
A village ski track of about seven kilometres also crosses Salonsaari's fields. Other farm services include rental cottages, boats and outboard motors, a lakeside sauna, and meeting and event facilities.
