This casual food and beer restaurant in Leppävaara has served home-style lunches since 1982. Its name refers to the former Harakka district, now known as Lintuvaara. The menu covers Finnish dishes, soups, hamburgers, cuts, pizzas and Indian dishes such as butter chicken and aloo gobi. There is a wide choice of beers on tap and in bottles, a large cider selection and a whisky range. It holds an A-licence, and staff can provide allergen information on the dishes.
The back room, PeräHarakka, is a games area that can also be booked for private events. It has three dart boards, a pool table, a video screen and four TVs for sports. Weekly themed evenings are pool on Tuesdays, darts on Wednesdays, a student evening on Thursdays and a quiz on Fridays. Parties and Christmas gatherings are hosted for small groups, companies and larger groups, with staff helping to plan. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
