The café stands on Mellsten beach in Haukilahti and is described as the first beach café in the area. Indoor seating is open year-round, there is a heated terrace, and the summer terraces seat over 300. The beach trail runs alongside, with outdoor recreation close by. It serves its own coffee blend, Segafredo specialty coffees and Althaus teas, along with fresh buns, doughnuts, savoury pastries and ice cream.
On weekdays a home-style lunch is served from 11 to 15, with many dishes lactose-free or low-lactose. There is also a burger buffet and a daily changing lunch pizza, made with dough and tomato sauce from a recipe by Italian pizza master Lionel Costanzo. Gluten-free pasta is available on request, and dishes are marked gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan. Staff can explain the ingredients, and lunch can be taken away. The seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
