The Old Laestadian community belongs to a revival movement within the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Teaching is based on the Lutheran confession and the Bible. Spiritual gatherings for all ages take place in its community house, parish premises and private homes.
Events are open to everyone, and sermons can be heard online. Activities also include courses through Jämsä folk high school and summer camps at Maitoinen. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
