The service works on a no-cost basis: costs are covered from achieved savings, and the client pays nothing if no savings result. The client decides at each stage whether to proceed. A single tender takes about 6 weeks and a full indirect-purchasing tender 4 to 8 months. Client time is about one hour for smaller projects and about ten hours for larger ones. Suppliers, rates and contract terms are compared using a market database built from earlier projects.
