The pier is part of a public archipelago boat network operating from June to August. The network has four main routes and nine departure harbours. Islands served include Pentala, Iso Vasikkasaari, Gåsgrund, Stora Herrö and Rövaren.
Camping is allowed on some islands. Bring enough drinking water and food, as the camping islands are mostly undeveloped and have no services where supplies can be purchased.
