The private island covers over three hectares and is linked to the mainland by a bridge. Edvin Bergroth donated it for use as a school in 1896, and children were taught there for more than a century. Services include sauna experiences and private events.
Visitors can arrive by car, bus or yacht. Island visits and experiences are reserved online. The entrance, parking area, toilet and some seating are wheelchair accessible. There is no hearing loop.
