Founded in 1906, the Swedish-speaking sailing club is based in the Sommarö archipelago and has about 800 members. It offers racing, junior coaching, camps and courses. Its island clubhouse opened in 1913 and has served as a maritime base since the early 1900s.
The club has an island harbour and road-accessible Amiralshamnen. Services include berths, boat lifting and launching, and dinghy winter storage. The clubhouse restaurant opens during Wednesday sailing sessions, while a café on the museum grounds operates in summer.
