Founded in 1967, the sailing club runs a summer sailing school for children and adult courses at Nuottaniemi. It also offers race training and dinghy sailing. The sheltered, deep harbour has over 400 moorings.
Guest berths, septic emptying and waste disposal are available. The clubhouse can be hired for celebrations by members and non-members. Villa Pentry restaurant operates in a historic villa from May to September. The club's weather-station readings are public. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
