This professional association brings together managers and specialists in printed media and related fields, including retirees. It does not handle collective bargaining or members' employment matters. Its member magazine, Faktori, appears four times a year.
Members can rent holiday cottages and attend a summer event. The association also organises the Kirjasalonki book-art event with the Finnish book art committee. Instructions for updating membership records are available online.
