Founded in 1963, the children's and youth choir has around 50 singers aged 9–20, each also playing at least one instrument. Pasi Hyökki has conducted it since 2008. Singing, instrumental playing and movement combine in repertoire spanning jazz, art music, folk and sacred music.
The choir collaborates with contemporary composers and gives around 25 concerts annually in Finland and abroad. It has made over 60 international tours, and Christmas concerts have been a tradition since the 1960s. It can be booked to perform, and supporting membership of the association is available. The website also has English, Swedish and German information.
