The foundation supports research, teaching and publishing on comprehensive security and wartime history. It also funds veterans' work, voluntary national defence training and prevention of youth marginalisation.
Grants have supported organisations and university professorships, including cybersecurity teaching. Annual application deadlines are 1 March, 1 June and 1 November.
