Founded in 1967, this local heritage association covers seven parishes in South Ostrobothnia's Järviseutu area. Its predecessor began work in 1961. It promotes research, revival and publication of local culture and publishes the newspaper Järviseudun Sanomat.
The Seutulaari online archive provides old newspapers and parish Christmas magazines without registration. The Seudun Tarinoita website collects local stories and materials, which registered users can edit.
