This amateur theatre is run by a local theatre association and has operated since 1980. It stages plays for children and adults, with recent years focusing on contemporary Finnish youth drama. It has a main hall, Iso Sali, and a smaller studio space, Pikku Spotti.
The main hall is wheelchair accessible by lift from the lower lobby, with about eight wheelchair spaces per performance by advance booking. Pikku Spotti is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The café opens an hour before performances and during the interval, and interval refreshments can be pre-ordered. Group ticket sales are available. The cloakroom runs on voluntary donations that support local scouts, and the theatre is not liable for items left there. A few parking spaces lie in front of the theatre, with more nearby during market events.
