Housed in former red-brick industrial buildings in the Kehräämö spinning-mill area, the museum explores the history of the industrial town and Finnish printed fabrics. It is combined with Kuosikeskus, a centre devoted to printed textile patterns. Galleria Moletti and a museum shop are part of the venue, which belongs to the European Route of Industrial Heritage network.
Guided tours are offered in Finnish and English. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible, with some accessible seating available.
