Founded in 1958, this local heritage association operates a heritage museum and publishes Maaselän Extra, a newspaper distributed across six municipalities. It also contributes to book publishing and organises local cultural events.
An electronic advertising board and community channel serve local organisations. Scaffolding, a coffee percolator, benches and tables can be hired. The association has around 120 members and a board comprising a chair and seven members.
