This family bakery began in 1980 as a small home bakery and moved to its current home in 1998, when the founder's daughter took over the business. The range covers breads, pastries, cakes and savoury baked goods. The breads are baked in a stone-hearth oven, and real cream and butter go into the baking. The rye bread is traditionally sourdough-fermented and made with rye flour from a local farmer.
The products are lactose-free. Gluten-free versions are made, but in shared facilities. Custom cakes can be ordered for celebrations such as graduations and confirmations. Orders are placed online and collected and paid for at the shop, or collected from the partner café Tähkä in Ikaalinen. The café serves pastries and coffee on site, with takeaway available. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
