This family-owned Indian restaurant was founded in 2015 and is run by two brothers who are trained chefs of Northern Indian cuisine. Its name comes from the Himalayan Monal, the state bird of Uttarakhand. The à la carte menu has meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes, with a changing weekday lunch buffet and a Mixed Thali at weekend lunch. Gluten-free (G), lactose-free (L) and vegan options are marked, and guests are asked to mention allergies.
The restaurant is in the Goodman shopping centre. Tables can be booked in advance, and takeaway and delivery go through Wolt, Foodera and Pizza-Online. Catering covers birthdays, small gatherings and larger events such as weddings. Seating, car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
