Handmade hairpieces provide an alternative to wigs for people experiencing hair loss. The patented method developed by hairdresser Minna Haantaus-Pekarila uses donated hair or a client's own hair. Products include headband and beanie hairpieces. The headband and undercap carry the Finnish Allergy Symbol, and materials are formaldehyde- and nickel-free.
Orders can be placed online, by email, phone or WhatsApp, with shipping throughout Finland. Fittings are available at Hiusstudio Muoto. Hair donations must be at least 35 cm long. The branch in Goodman shopping centre has an accessible entrance and parking.
