In this multidisciplinary learning environment, students, teachers, researchers and companies develop products and services around real business challenges. The English-language Solution Foundry course carries 15 ECTS. Workshops cover 3D modelling and printing, graphic and web design, laser work and Blender. An eight-week data analytics project uses Excel and Power BI, while the Millennium Fellowship programme focuses on leadership and sustainable development.
Facilities support wood and metal work, electronics assembly, laser cutting and 3D printing. Stage hosts events and lectures. ProtoLab is available to the university's students and staff after induction. Internships carry 15 ECTS and can be undertaken in Finnish or English. Parking and the entrance are wheelchair accessible.
