Run by a support association, the institute provides basic arts education in music and dance for children and young people. Classical and contemporary music are mainly taught individually. Ensembles include string, wind, harmonica and chamber orchestras. Ballet is the main dance subject, with contemporary, showjazz, commercial and acrobatics as side subjects.
Young children have music play school and babies can join family music. Musicianship is taught in groups and performing is part of studies. Registration and open lesson details are published online. The premises are in Verkatehdas, with accessible parking and an entrance.
