On weekdays, Monday to Friday, the restaurant serves a buffet lunch with a large salad table, a main course with a side dish, a daily vegetarian option, coffee or tea and a small dessert. A soup lunch is also available. Dishes are marked as lactose-free, gluten-free, vegan or dairy-free, but the buffet cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free meal.
The restaurant is run by Kanresta Oy, a subsidiary of Suomen Kansanterveysyhdistys ry. Its environmental work follows the Ekokompassi certified environmental management system and the Portaat Luomuun programme. It also provides catering for events, corporate functions and made-to-order groups. It is on the ground floor of the Verkatehdas main building, with views over Lake Vanajavesi. Bicycle parking is near the main doors, the car park has disabled spaces, and a taxi stop is at the main entrance. The seating, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
