This indoor hall is used mainly for floorball training but also suits other indoor sports. It has two rinks, each 36 × 18 m, and no spectator stands. It is run by the local sports hall service and stands opposite the Hakio ice sports centre. The building also holds a fitness centre run by HPK and a space rented to the local judo club.
The hall can be booked through the Liikuntahallit reservation system, and a virtual tour is available online. The main entrance is step-free and the lobby has an accessible toilet, but the changing-room toilets are not accessible, and there is no separate accessible changing room or sauna. The large car park is shared with ice sports centre visitors and can get crowded during public events at Pohjantähti Areena.
