This bed and breakfast is in a listed wooden house built in 1923 in the town centre. The current owners opened it as an accommodation business in 2017, and it is independent, not part of any hotel chain. Every room has individual décor, mixing historical atmosphere with modern amenities. The interior is furnished largely with recycled furniture, and bedding and towels are linen and cotton.
Breakfast is prepared personally for each guest and portioned to avoid food waste. The guesthouse is adults-oriented, and pets cannot be accommodated. The entrance from the street is up a few steps, so it is not step-free. The building is heated by district heating produced 96% from non-fossil fuels, with part of the electricity from its own solar panels. Company cars are fully electric, and soaps and shampoos are refilled from pump bottles.
