The local Finnish Lung Health Association branch supports people with respiratory conditions and their families in Kanta-Häme. Topics include asthma, COPD, sleep apnoea, other lung diseases, indoor air and allergies. Activities cover exercise groups, bocce, online lectures and information events for members and non-members.
Peer support phone lines for COPD and sleep apnoea are run with the national association. The office is fragrance-free and accessible, with parking at the door. Members can use the Suviranta holiday site at Takajärvi in Hattula. The association publishes the Katukiikari magazine and maintains an online events calendar.
