Founded in 1964, the national caravanning and motorhome federation represents around 80 member associations and over 60,000 individual members. It advocates for vehicle users, promotes camping tourism and develops campsites, road safety and responsible travel.
Members have training, a knowledge bank, Caravan magazine and access to Caravan Plus articles. The federation works with authorities, vehicle businesses and tourism companies and belongs to FICC and FIA. Member associations make decisions at an annual general meeting; its board has a chair and eight members.
