This volunteer-led local association is part of Save the Children Finland and supports children and families. Its Eväitä Elämälle programme helps fund hobbies for under-18s from low-income families. Families in crisis are supported together with social services and parish diaconal workers.
Membership is open, and volunteers can take part in the work. Since 2020, an annual local award has recognised actions benefiting children and young people. Professional early support and child protection services are handled by the organisation's regional staff.
