The camp centre stands on the shore of Lake Iso-Herttujärvi in Central Finland and is run by SRK, the Central Association of Finnish Peace Associations. It has about 150 beds in 46 rooms named after swallow species, such as Haarapääskynen and Tervapääskynen. The new camp centre has a total floor area of 2,841 m². SRK bought the old property in 1982 and camp activities began there. Because of indoor air problems the old building was demolished and rebuilt, and the new centre was completed in summer 2022, with camp activity starting in early autumn 2022.
Facilities include a lakeside sauna, a community hall and classrooms. The centre is affiliated with the Laestadian movement and serves the camp and retreat activities of the peace associations. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
