The church belongs to the Finnish-speaking Lutheran parish, founded in 1874. The shared parish split into Finnish- and Swedish-speaking parishes in 1962, and today the Finnish-speaking parish works with the Swedish-speaking Hangö svenska församling in a joint parish association. The association handles bookkeeping, church tax distribution, cemeteries and property for both parishes. The parish belongs to the Espoo diocese and the Lohja deanery.
The church is used for services, including funeral masses. Baptisms, weddings, funerals and confirmation camps can be arranged through the parish website. The parish runs Cafe27 and youth and family activities, and its parish and finance offices are in the same town. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
