Housed in an old school building, this guesthouse was established in 1985. Rooms include three-person and two-person rooms, an accessible twin and rooms named Rehtorin (the headmaster's) and Opettajan (the teacher's) room. Most rooms include breakfast and free Wi-Fi, and several have air conditioning. Some rooms have a private bathroom, others a shared one. A private sauna and party and meeting rooms can be rented, and electric bicycles are available to guests.
There is no reception: guests check in themselves with a door code sent by email before arrival. Pets are allowed in at least one room, and parking is free. A caravan and motorhome parking area is on the premises. It stands on the Esplanadi, within walking distance of shops, the museum, harbour restaurants and the railway station.
