The pharmacy was founded in 1959 in the Munkkivuori shopping centre, one of Finland's first shopping centres. It has been in its current premises in the Lääkärikeskus Dextran building since 1984, and the store was renovated in November 2023. Prescription medicines can be collected at pickup points and prescriptions ordered through the online pharmacy. It also handles Sote professional ID card orders, Schengen certificates and foreign-country prescription summaries, and takes medicine waste, including syringes and needles packed separately.
A dose dispensing service in pouches suits customers with many or frequently changing medicines. Medicines can be collected on someone else's behalf with a Kela card, patient instructions or an electronic authorisation. The staff include a pharmacist-owner, provisors, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, a cosmetologist and asthma, diabetes and heart contact persons. Pharmacy cosmetics are on sale. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
