Founded in 2004 by Soile Mäkelä, Laura Mäkelä and Davide Giovanzana, the company creates physical theatre. Its forms include mask theatre, clowning, bouffon and mime, with work also drawing on commedia dell'arte, puppetry and object theatre.
Alongside performances, it runs MetaWORKSHOP and MetaLAB sessions, including mask and clown workshops. Productions have traditionally invited an international pedagogue to teach a technique used in the show. Accessible parking and an accessible toilet are not available.
