The upholstery workshop has operated since 2009 and is run by upholsterers Tiina Pyykkö and Riku Saarikoski as a family business. It upholsters chairs, armchairs and sofas in both classic and modern styles across the capital region. A speciality is motorcycle seat modification: seats can be lowered or raised and fitted with gel padding and decorative stitching, with vegetable-tanned leather worked by hand, patterns included. Motorcycle seats can be posted in from anywhere in Finland.
Design furniture such as Artek pieces is upholstered to keep its original look. Businesses and public spaces, including offices, clinics, gyms, restaurants and salons, get materials built to withstand heavy use and meet public-space requirements. For an estimate, send a photo, a short description of your wishes and your contact details. The workshop is in Jakomäki, near Kehä III close to the Vantaa border.
