The Laestadian revival movement is named after Lars Levi Laestadius and is based on the Bible and the teaching of Christ and the apostles. It is active mainly in the Nordic countries and North America, and its central place is in Swedish Lapland, where the revival began. Gatherings open with hymn singing, prayer and the reading of a Laestadius sermon, followed by a preacher speaking on a Bible text.
Everyone who wishes to hear the word of God is welcome at the gatherings. The movement does extensive work with children and young people, and a contact person can give more information. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
