Opened in 2019, the innovation and R&D hub focuses on extended reality, including VR, AR and MR, and artificial intelligence. It is operated by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences with the Finnish Virtual Reality Association. Its developer hub provides workspace, equipment and mentoring for early-stage XR, AI and Web3 teams.
Services include workshops, a showroom, venue hire and business coaching. Meetups and showcases bring together developers, artists, entrepreneurs and students. The hub occupies the third floor of Arabia135 as part of the Creative Campus. The entrance and parking area are accessible.
