The private adult upper secondary school, run by the Touko Voutilainen school foundation, was founded in 1962. It offers upper secondary education and matriculation exams, adult basic education, TUVA preparatory studies and Finnish courses. Options include mathematics and science, English-language and bilingual programmes, and dual qualifications with Perho business college.
Students can complete qualifications or individual subjects in person, online, through hybrid teaching or at their own pace. Around 3,000 students from over 90 nationalities attend annually. Across two sites, the school provides guidance, special education support and student welfare. It takes part in Erasmus+ exchanges and works with a ballet school and conservatory. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
