Taxi driver training covers 12 subject areas, progressing from basic teaching through applied practice to exam preparation. A 21-hour taxi entrepreneur course and specialist training for Kela, SHA and municipal transport are also offered.
Vocational training is available through an apprenticeship. Theory is taught in languages beyond Finnish and Swedish, while exams are in Finnish or Swedish. Courses can be booked online. Around 300–450 drivers are trained annually, and the course leader has more than 40 years of taxi industry experience.
