Finnish design jewellery is made in small series, mostly cast and finished by hand. The main material is 925 sterling silver, around 75 per cent recycled. Some designs can be made to order in fully recycled gold. The design process also uses 3D modelling and printing.
Custom work includes wedding rings. Chains and clasps come from European manufacturers, and efforts are made to trace gemstones' origins. Unplated silver can tarnish; care advice recommends storing jewellery in a box and using silver polish or a polishing cloth.
