This twin-rink ice hall is run by Nuorisojääkenttä Oy, a non-profit company that aims to improve youth ice sports and hobby opportunities in the capital region. The company was founded in 1974. The hall was originally planned as a covered artificial ice track, and the second rink was added during design so the two could share cooling equipment. A mirror hall of about 100 m² with a spring floor is used mainly by figure skaters and can be rented by others.
The hall hosts junior ice hockey tournaments and rink ball championships. Open kindergarten ice sessions and public skating are offered on set days. Regular ice slots are booked by email. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
