The youth activity centre runs outdoor trips, cooking, art, animal care and job-seeking activities, mainly for ages 10–25 and young adults. It also houses a municipal environmental youth work unit, the regional 4H association and the Wempaimisto outdoor equipment lending service, with backpacks and camping stoves.
Some events require registration; others allow drop-ins. Weekly activities include a cooking club, a hangout for ages 13–18 and a social soup kitchen for ages 15–28. School and student groups can arrange visits with staff by phone or email. The centre is on the ground floor of a residential building, with an accessible entrance.
