Family day care takes place in the childminder's home in a group of up to four children. One familiar adult looks after the children, with home-cooked meals, outdoor play and movement in nature each day. Childminders have pedagogical training and operate under municipal supervision.
Families can visit the home before choosing a place. A gradual start allows a parent to stay during the first days. Applications are submitted through an online form.
