The private daycare with Catholic roots was founded in 1946 to support children from international families. Polish Ursuline Sisters have run it since 1985. It follows the Finnish early childhood curriculum and general Christian principles, including the church year's celebrations.
English is used daily alongside Finnish, with daily language immersion. Meals are cooked in the daycare's own kitchen. Activities include outdoor play, exercise and winter skiing, as well as music, piano and creative work.
