This Swedish-language day care centre is for children with special needs. Its multidisciplinary team has expertise in autism and speech and language difficulties. Everyday habilitation uses structured routines, with individual learning plans based on Pep-R assessment and Portage mapping. Signing, pictures and objects support communication.
A trained visiting therapy dog takes part, and an aquaponics system helps teach ecosystems and food growing. Activated water is used for cleaning as part of an ecological approach. Short-term care is offered every other weekend from Friday to Saturday. Admissions go through the city's head of early childhood education. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
