This Finnish performance psychology company was founded in 2010 as SportFocus by sports psychology experts Paula Arajärvi and Terhi Lehtoviita. It was renamed Cope in spring 2020, when its services widened from sport to performers, surgeons, the military and business professionals. Work is split into SportFocus for athletes and coaches, ArtFocus for artists and BusinessFocus for leadership and team performance. Its staff hold academic degrees in sport sciences and psychology.
Services are offered to individuals, teams and organisations. Booking in advance is recommended and in some cases required, and there is a toilet on site. The company publishes the book Suorituskyvyn psykologia and has run EduFocus, a year-long training programme for mental coaches, since 2017.
