This visual artist and printmaker graduated in 2000. The core of the work is traditional metal-plate printmaking, such as etching and aquatint, producing print series. An edition is typically around 30 to 60 prints depending on the size of the plate, often with e.v. prints in varying tones. The imagery draws on animals and dreamlike moods, aiming for a soft, comforting visual world. The work has been shown in Finland and abroad, and the artist is a member of the Finnish Printmakers' Association.
The studio is in the Cable Factory. The artist teaches intaglio printmaking to adults and basic art education to children. Work is sold through her own online shop and is also available from the art lending service of the Rikhardinkatu library, Grafoteekki, the Frimodig frame shop, Galleria 12 and the Cable Factory shop.
