The figure skating club became independent in 1972 after starting as an HJK section in 1966. It offers synchronised skating for competitive athletes, recreational skaters and adult beginners. It participates in the Finnish Olympic Committee's Star Club quality programme for children and youth, adults and elite sport.
The skating school has groups for different ages and abilities, taught by qualified coaches at several ice rinks. The club's teams also compete internationally.
As a skater or parent, share your club experience in the comments for prospective participants.
